Cambridge CardioMatrix showcased its pioneering closed-loop, non-blood-contact cardiac support platform at BioSeed 2026, one of the UK's leading life sciences seed investment events organised by the BioIndustry Association (BIA). Held at 8 Fenchurch Place, London, the event brought together innovative early-stage life sciences companies with venture capital firms, pharmaceutical companies, investors, and strategic partners.

Representing Cambridge CardioMatrix, CEO Marshal Ma presented the company's vision for transforming the management of advanced heart failure through its proprietary Advanced Soft Robotics Device (ASD) technology platform. The platform is designed to provide an integrated solution for the treatment, precision diagnosis, and continuous monitoring of patients with advanced heart failure.

Unlike conventional mechanical circulatory support technologies that rely on direct blood contact and are associated with risks such as thrombosis, bleeding, and infection, Cambridge CardioMatrix's innovative epicardial platform is designed to support the heart from its outer surface.
