Future City International Medical & Healthcare Technology Innovation Competition in China

Cambridge CardioMatrix has been awarded the Bronze Award at the Future City International Medical & Healthcare Technology Innovation Competition, held in China's Future City-Xiong’an, recognising the company's innovative approach to advancing the treatment of advanced heart failure.

The international competition brought together innovative medical technology companies, researchers, clinicians, and industry experts from around the world to showcase breakthrough healthcare innovations and promote international collaboration in medical technology development.

Representing Cambridge CardioMatrix, CEO Marshal Ma presented the company's pioneering Active Epicardial Support Device (ASD) platform—a closed-loop, non-blood-contact cardiac support technology designed to transform the treatment and management of advanced heart failure.

The judging panel from the Medical and healthcare experts recognised the platform's innovative approach, which integrates therapeutic support, physiological monitoring, and intelligent control within a single epicardial system. This next-generation technology has the potential to address important limitations of existing heart failure therapies while creating future opportunities for precision treatment and targeted therapeutic delivery.

The award provides further independent validation of Cambridge CardioMatrix's innovation and reflects the growing international interest in next-generation cardiovascular technologies.
